Didn't see this posted yet. YMMV on the % discount you get for S&S. For regular accounts, it's 15% off if you have at least five items for the month, otherwise it's only 5% off. Amazon Mom accounts get 20% off I believe.
Item(s) Subtotal: $5.96
Shipping & Handling: $0.00
Promotion applied: -$0.89
Your Coupon Savings: -$1.19
Total before tax: $3.88
EDIT: Looks like the above item is now currently unavailable. You can check for other deals with this coupon here[amazon.com].
Do you get free toothpaste or do you just use baking soda, playground sand, battery acid or something like that?
You get it for free from stores like Rite Aid or CVS. For example, at rite aid last week they had a deal where you could get crest 4 oz toothpaste for $2.99 and get $2.99 back in +UP reward. You can also use coupons on the item too, so most people were using 50c coupon and they end up paying $2.49 and getting $2.99 up reward. The up rewards are store credit that can be used for your next purchase. Usually they have 2-3 items each week that are like that (free or you get back more money). In the last month, I've probably gotten $150 worth of items for the cost of tax - toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and gum are just some of the stuff. You can also check on youtube, people post videos of what they got and they break down how much they paid.
