Your hatred of Spirit Airlines (or another airline) can get you 8,000 Spirit Airlines for free!

Send a hate message of 140 characters or less to Spirit Airlines about them or another airline and Spirit Airlines will give you 8,000 Spirit Airlines miles.

You'll get the 8,000 Spirit Airlines miles within 10 days. Each person is limited to 8,000 Spirit Airlines miles. But you and your partner could both send Spirit Airlines a "hate" message and get 16,000 Spirit Airlines miles.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Unfortunately these miles are basically worthless.
Minimum for a one way ticket is 10,000 miles + $10.00.

Here is how it works out:
8,000 miles - Free
Buy 2,000 miles for $48.38
Plus a MINIMUM $10 fee when booking with miles.

For the cheapest ticket with these miles it would be $58.38 for ONE WAY.

Not worth the hassle. When you could buy the ticket for $30...

Sure, the 8,000 miles are free, but given that this is Spirit Airlines they will eventually find a way to trick you out of whatever they're financially worth.

if you get their mastercard, one way flights are as low as 2500 miles.

I absolutely love this promotion! Spirit has a great sense of humor and I even love the video after you sign up. In the spirit of the promotion I did vent my hate, but I must admit flying my family of 4 from ACY to MCO for 20000 miles r/t kinda rocks. In the odd chance they might get their jalopy flying, it is the slickest of deals.

If you don't mind the credit hit, here is the best scenario -

Apply for the credit card here [doublizer.com]. You will receive 15,000 miles (enough for 3 round trip flights)

Then, refer your spouse here [applyonlinenow.com] and you will receive 5,000 bonus points and they will receive the 15,000 points for signing up.

In total, your account would have 28,000 miles (8,000 + 15,000 + 5,000) and your spouse would have 23,000 miles.

One way tickets are as low as 2,500 miles, or round trip are 5,000 when you book using your spirit credit card. So you will net 4 and 5 round trip flights for each of you.

I checked ATL-DEN and there are some flights for 10k plus 12.50, so $60. That's a great price for that leg. Just use another airline for the return flight

You also need to factor in the fee for carry-on bag. As far as I know, Spirit is the only US domestic airline charges carry-on luggage.

People should also keep in mind that these miles expire after 3 months of inactivity. So, unless you're planning on taking that trip within three months or have the mastercard to earn points pretty easily, they'll go down the drain.

They don't expire if you join miles for thoughts and do 1 survey every 89 days.
I have kept my miles for 6 months now.
