After being royally screwed by, I'd like to warn any SlickDealer who is considering using their service.

I've only used them once, and it was a disaster. Over Memorial Day weekend I arrived at my hotel only to learn that there was no record of my reservation AND the hotel was sold out.

According to some reviews I've read online recently, this is not an uncommon occurrence with I did research the site before I purchased the rooms, but I didn't find much.

After several hours, I was able to contact their Indian call center. Eventually we were relocated to a sub-par hotel and told to "take it or leave it". I tried to leave it, but every hotel I called was sold out.

Anyway, I eventually worked out a $100 refund, or so I thought. They said that first I had to rescind my PayPal claim, which I did (yes, I know - kicking myself now). That was June 25. Yesterday, I received an email telling me about a glitch in their accounting department and that I would receive the refund today or someone would follow-up. Unsurprisingly, no refund and no follow-up call.

Time for a charge-back.

Yikes just booked with them. Is any part of the refund process automated there?

Just call your credit card company and do a chargeback.
