Since many on this thread have a covert agenda, let me divulge my overt agenda: to share a deal with you that I got with minimal inconvenience based on the previous thread and research on truecar.com and edmunds.com. Then to put much of the information that I spent some time to research in one place for those interested.

If you are not adding anything constructive to the discussion, then please move along for the sake of others so this thread doesn't get cluttered with 50% nonsense like so many threads on SD.

I do not post often but am considering a more active stance to balance the useless trolling in this forum - not to say that all my posts hold weight, but at the least they provide some information and perspective for some. I have a lone FP deal under my name from a few years ago when FP deals were seemingly more organic and less manufactured, if you are one who can tell, and that's a feather in the cap that many cannot claim.

Credit to se-riously for the original thread:

Bonus cash is lower this time, but still a great deal if you need the Green HOV Decal, which allows you to ride in the HOV/Fastrack Lane by yourself(save avg $3-5 one way) and also park in metered parking spots for free in Santa Monica, Hermosa Beach, and some other cities(only during parking hours, do not park when it is not allowed, genius).

Green HOV Decal just got approved for 15,000 more stickers starting on July 1, 2014 and all Green stickers are valid until January 1, 2019. There may be more issued...or not. I bought now so that I can make sure to get a sticker.

I'll plug the specialist/dealership I bought from because it was the best experience I have had buying a car so far - 3 emails, invoice price without haggling:
$30,093 on Special Paint Blizzard Pearl before any incentives
-$2,000 TFS Bonus Cash
$28,093 + TTL

I was in and out after work with my new PIP - amazing gas mileage!
She said she would honor the price for my friends and family, so tell her that JJ referred you if you think it might help(she has a cute yorkie puppy in her office, so heads up if you have allergies):

Note that if you purchase instead of financing, in Southern California it's a $3,000 rebate instead of $2,000 if you finance. In Northern California, it's $2,500 regardless if you purchase or finance.

I Highly doubt that, the advance in mpg will be only a couple of mpg.
As after 50mpg they are hitting a barrier .usability of car vs mpg
More like new option , wireless charging or a larger battery pack.

Bonus cash is $2,000 instead of $4,000 which expired on 7/7/14. I have edited the post and added the incentives to show you how it works out.

Point of this deal is for people who wish to take advantage of all the rebates available and the Green HOV Decal which will only be around for a short while before they are all issued.

For me, using the HOV to and from work everyday amounts to avg $8 and 15-30minutes (which is worth more than $8 for me). Based on that, I see a savings of $16 x 242 workdays for me=$3872/year. That's math that makes me feel good!woot

Make sure you have your official registration that was mailed to you from the DMV - if the ownership process is not completed by the time your CAV decal is processed, then you will face a delay that might become permanent!EEK!

At only $2,000 bonus cash, other car may be as attractive of deal as the PIP

Sounds like the target is 5+mpg increase:
http://www.autonews.com/article/2...d-6-months

"The company is targeting a fuel economy improvement of at least 10 percent over the third-generation Prius, which debuted in 2009. Toyota considers that the benchmark target for each new generation. "

Take a look at the rendering of next gen 2016 based on NS4 concept.

The old deal is expired and this is not the same deal.

Invoice price is getting hosed? If you paid $24,400, then prove it. Otherwise, move along and stop trolling.
