With my $5,000 state tax rebate for my LEAF already in pocket, figured it'd be good to post the latest deals here in Georgia.

For an S model with QC, the price is $240 VPP and $289 w/o VPP. Lastly, I asked about the SVs and SLs and he says the pricing on them are not good right now but that you're welcome to go that route if you want.

The Math:
Total Payments: $5,016 (or $209 x 24 months)
State Income Tax Credit: $5,000 *
Increase in Insurance: $400 (YMMV)
Gas Savings net Added Electricity: $2,040 (YMMV but for me, it's at least $110/mo average gas cost minus net the added $25/mo electricity bill)
Disposition Fee: $395
Special Tag Fee: $60
Total "Profit" = $1,169

See the earlier post for full conditions, instructions on how to file your state tax return, and FAQs.

Enjoy!

* The time to get your $5,000 refund definitely lengthens when filing with the ZEV application, but have no fear - the IRS will pay you interest for that delay. My refund increased an extra $100 because of this. Smilie

Aziz Aztot at Town Center Nissan (aztotaziz@yahoo.com, cell 404-771-2667) is doing 24mo leases for 2015 Nissan LEAF S models for $209 with VPP or $259 non-VPP. The normal conditions apply - $0 down payment, 12,000 miles a year, $395 disposition fee, etc.

Please note that this deal is only being offered through Aziz. Obviously, you are welcome to shop around to see if you can get a better price. If so, please post and share the heart.

See the earlier post for full conditions as well as instructions on how to file your state tax return.

Enjoy!
I was thinking about doing this also.
So you got the tax credit this year? To get the tax credit this year, does that mean you got this deal last year?
I'm just wondering if the tax credit is still viable because we don't know when the legislators will take it out

I received my tax credit this year from my 2013 tax return filed this year for a lease completed last year.

I believe the tax credit is still available. I don't know how long the credit will continue but my understanding is that as long as you lease before they say it's ended, then you will still receive the credit in your next tax return.

Ok that is good to know. For the vpp, does the person who has the vpp have to buy the car? I know someone who has vpp and I was thinking if I could use their proof to get the lower pricing.

To my knowledge, unless they are co-signing for your loan, you have to be the VPP member.

as far as i know, they have to be on the contract so they could be a co-signer.

looked into the 2015 leaf, disappointed to see that they didn't increase the range at all. my current 2013 leaf lease doesn't end for a while but it would be nice to see some upgrades.

as long as they are leased/purchased in separate calendar years, i believe so. but please check with mr. udi or your tax professional to make sure.

Hmmm, tempting... I'm in GA, but I work from home and really don't drive that much.
