I have this tripod as a vacation tripod. It holds my 6D and 24-105 fine. However, I haven't had it to the max height with camera on it.

I played with this in store. You will be disappointed. the head is flimsy, and I doubt it would provide good stability for you camera and lens. This is certainly nice for a mirrorless, or even a small size (rebel, sl1) with an ultrawide or mid range zoom.
of course to each his own, and honestly if you are looking in the sub 100 price range, this may be a good deal, but if you want lightweight and stable, for a ball head and legs, for your 6d and 24-105, you need to be looking at a min of 300 budget. If you can do without really light, you can get stable and medium weight at 150-200

I own it. It's by a far margin the best travel tripod you can get for $50. Being a travel tripod, hoist weight and features are given up for lightness and compact dimensions. Folded up, it's barely a foot long.

My only beef with it are the rotating leg extension locks. Unlike lever locks, you twist them to tighten down on the legs and you can't necessarily see whether they're tight. Plus there are a lot of them, 4 on each leg, so it's a lot of work to unpack and repack the tripod.
