Bank of America Privacy Assist - FULL Refund for YEARS of Service
What's up guys. This is my first Slickdeal and I hope it's considered a Slickdeal; I really felt it was.
For those of you that have Bank of America's Privacy Assist credit monitoring service, be aware that they recently had a massive lawsuit against them that is forcing them to refund $700M+ to Privacy Assist customers. Note: If you have ever had any of their other "credit monitoring" services, you should be eligible for a refund as well.
I found this out last night when I decided to cancel the service (I was looking for ways to save $10/month here and there) and Google'd for their number.
Canceling was very easy and all I did was mention that I read about a recent lawsuit filed against them and asked if I was entitled to any refund. The kind lady informed me that I would be refunded for my full 74 months of service ($12.99/month, $961.26 total refund). It hasn't hit my account yet but I was in shock.

Just some info for SD members
There are many class suits that may you have missed out on if you did not know about them.
BOA has about 4.
Some I have been compensated for: Naked Juice, Kashi Cereal, TurboTax, Honeywell, Popchips, Traders Joe's, Emergen-C....
There are 100's of others going on.
I have got checks from these as well as many free products. (Like 16 bags of Alexia French Fries)
Some suit do not require any proof of purchase, some pay out better with proof.
I am signed up with a site (I have no affiliation, they have no referral program, just info for you guys)
IMO: Just found it to be the best and they seem to stay on top of every suit going on.
Sign up and get email updates of all current class suits.
You won't regret spending the time searching the site.
There is money in them dar classy suits!

Lol credit karma can't touch what a legit service like USAA or somewhere else can do for that little cost.
It'll "monitor", but everything else cannot be taken too seriously honestly on that site. For example, Lexington Law just told me of a collection agency that dinged my credit this month. CK hasn't yet. Every day counts in challenging random agencies who try to extort you - even for $50 like this one is! The quicker you can go "get off my lawn and prove I owe it!" the quicker they'll run for the hills.
CK told me my credit score was like 625 when I was going to buy a car. Went to the dealership....it was 40 points less!
I can't trust CK. Maybe you can.
