I always thought lifetime warranty meant for the expected lifetime of the product, not the life of the purchaser/end user
Wouldn't that make 'lifetime warranty" meaningless and almost arbitrary? They could stop making the exact model you bouht in 1 week or 10 years. If they fail after (say) 8 days, the company could say "we just stopped making that, so no replacement for you".
I have a pair of these I've had for years. Great for gym, mowing, biking; anywhere you don't want to ruin an expensive set of headsets. They aren't that bad for beaters. Better than the 'in the box' stuff with the phone/ipod etc.... jmho
