These seem somewhat gimmicky to me - not sure what is so difficult about pouring a packet of oatmeal into a cup / bowl and then adding water.
very true lol....seems like $2.98 should be regular price. Instant oatmeal can usually be found around $1.50 a box so I guess another dollar for the convenience of not having a bowl or microwave would be ok. But $15??? Really?
"Holy unnecessary packaging and complications, Batman
Is your life incomplete because you haven't been able to make a full meal with your Keurig machine? Would you prefer that your instant oatmeal box take up 5 times as much space in your kitchen as it currently does? Do you like throwing away lots and lots of pointless packaging? Do you enjoy lukewarm, half-cooked oatmeal? Then this product is for you.
Seriously, WHY? This actually is really good instant oatmeal, with the almonds and fruit, but the packaging is ridiculous and the water from the Keurig doesn't nearly cook it properly. After I added another few tablespoons of water and microwaved it for a minute, it was delicious. I gave it 3 stars for the taste and quality of the ingredients, but the execution is terrible."
I imagine what's in the "cup" is some sort of brown sugar concoction? I'd be curious if anyone actually knows.
Either way, I'm in...I always need another item or 2 to get to 5 items, and the 20% I get off more expensive items is usually worth trying to add these sorts of random cheapo items.
Several people reference it being about $15, so this certainly is a steal.
