Saw this in HD while looking at a Husky tool chest combo. This one is a helluva lot better.

Top was $250. Now $200.
Bottom was $350. Now $300.

Not sure how mont stores are running this. Peachtree City, GA and Newnan GA both had them for this price.

HF like harbor freight? You've got to be shitting me.
Yes. And I will shit on you if it'll teach you to stop buying labels.

That's a good basic review comparing tool boxes from 2012. The Dewalt tool box was not around during that tool box review and is a nice alternative for those seeking an above average tool box at relatively affordable prices. No need to remove the HF emblem and a 3yr warranty versus 90 day.

Some nice features on the Dewalt to consider:
Heavy duty casters for increased durability
• Bottom Keys for internal locking mechanism with breakaway keys
• 100-pound auto return drawer slides for heavy duty storage capacity
• Extra Deep 12" Bottom Drawer
• 200lb Heavy Duty Bottom Drawer
Yes the initial review is from 2012, but updates have been made when new boxes come to market. Maybe the author will even update with info on these Dewalt boxes.

I would also say that having someone measuring the sheet metal thickness, construction, bearing count and size, to me, is a bit more than a basis review; it sounds pretty in depth actually. I found it useful which is why I shared it.

Now I'm not going to comment on the Dewalt box because I haven't seen it in person. It could be very well made. I was simply pointing out that for the money, the HF boxes are very hard to beat for people who don't care about name brand.

Take this from a true Harbor Fake Hater. The US General box they carry is actually, surprisingly, down right so non expected bad azz. It really is for the money the best box out there. This dewalt one would look cool if you got a racing inspired garage as the yellow looks sleek, but if your after something that will stand the test of time and your on a low budget, cough cough i cant believe I am actually typing this cuz i hate just about every other product in their store lol go for the US GENERAL box.

I've seen the Dewalt box in person at HD and at first I thought it was a great deal. Looks nice from far but when you get close it's far from nice. I have not seen the HF chest to compare, but this Dewalt chest was cheaply priced accordingly. I'm sure it would work fine for the average home owner.

I checked out the dewalt in store a couple of months ago, drawers weren't near as smooth as the us generals and didn't seem as well built overall

In Minnesota, the combo was $350 and I offered $300 (bought it) since they did not have the clearance 40" Husky ($199 on internet Saturday only).
The DeWalt holds 2000 lbs. So $32x with tax.

I like it, but the HF 44" wide has more storage for $680,
but you could buy 2 combo stacked DeWalts for less and that would be 72" wide in total.

Nope. No shit. It's superior on build quality, capacity and drawer weight limits. The best $369 cabinet on the market.
