Arent the points supposed to show up when item is shipped ?
No. The status need to be "ready to pick up", i.e., after you get the email notification for pick up

no no . you need to call to get your points when you realize that you're never going to get them otherwise . like on the tv stand deal , and many others .

Has everyone been checking their accounts? 50,000 points disappeared from mine between Sunday and today. Super sketchy. I got them to restore them (a glitch, they said), but I'm getting out of this game. Or at least I'm going to try real hard.

Today I headed to my local KMart to see if they had a different deal in stock.
They did not, but I saw this boombox in a box on the shelf. It's $52.84 per the local ad.

I grabbed it and headed up front.
This is where things slowed down dramatically...

I explained to the cashier that I wanted to pay with a dollar and cover the rest with my SWYR points.
I also explained that this was because I wanted to be sure to receive my 50,000 bonus points.
...widespread confusion begins to set in, several other people are involved, people standing in line behind me abandon the line...
This goes on for a while, I'll just skip to the point

Eventually they redeem the entire total in SYWR points, and give my dollar back.
The receipt shows 50,000 bonus points earned.
I've attached a copy of my e-receipt. I am unsure about the CL Cash line...but I am sure that dollar is currently resting comfortably in my pocket.
The SYWR website shows 0 points earned...but my total points available only reflect the ~3000 point difference.

Strange times in the wondrous land of KMart, per usual.

How bizarre! Based on my experiences I never tell the cashier how many points I expect to get back on an extreme deal like this as 1. they tend to think it is a mistake and call the cashier supervisor and/or manager just to be sure it is ok...which tends to be a deal killer, and 2. there will literally be none left on the shelf if I want a second one (either employees will buy them, or the store manager will pull them.) If don't want to pay all in points and feel I have to tell them something, I just tell them I'm supposed to get bonus points back and know that if you use 100% points, you don't get any points back. If they question, I tell them customer service previously told me that and so they let it go. If the cashier notices after the fact, as some do, they have already run the transaction and so let it go...though often begrudgingly.

This is actually the second time that I got in on this deal.
The first was ordered online for an in-store pick up. That was much easier.

I knew that they had this one on the shelf, but the website would not allow me to order it.
I can say with confidence that none of the people that I spoke with had any clue how the SYWR points work.
Being that I was in the company of highly trained experts, I tried to explain that I knew that I needed to pay at least something out of pocket in order to get my bonus points. This attempt just resulted in confused looks.

I spoke with the cashier, the customer service guy (I assume that he was some kind of store manager/assistant), a customer service lady who wandered over, 2 stock guys who were standing around when I came to show where the tag was.

To add to the confusion, the $52,84 price was on a tag stuck to the box. The tag with the ad for $50 back in bonus points was stuck to the shelf and showed the regular $79.99 price, which is why I didn't take it with me in the first place.

It took a decent chunk of time, and no shortage of confusion...but in the end, $2.84 for a pretty decent little bluetooth radio was worth it.

Good for you! I always say "I've got more time than money" so I'm also willing to wait at the register or cs for a while when necessary too. I got one of these in the store the other day, plus used a $10 pts when you spend $50 coupon, and the cashier was quite alarmed as she actually noticed I was getting $60 in points back on a $52 purchase. She said "We're gonna have to figure this out" but I said thank you and ran. lol

I purchased 3 in one store back to back. 3 seperate transactions. I hate the fact the cashier can see my points balance prior to adding them to the order. I get more looks and laughs at my point balance than I do at what im buying. Today "Bessie Joe roberts in sporting goods only has $190 in points, sure wish she was here to see this" Hee haww.. vomit I need a red carpet. no ones ever seen one large as mine
