Have been looking for a 60" TV and came across this LG 60" 3D Plasma Smart TV with Wi-Fi for only $699. Store pickup was available, but I opted for the free freight delivery.

Total price out the door for me with CA tax & recycling: $759.92.

It's active 3D with no glasses included; however, the Samsung SSG-5150GB [amazon.com] are compatible and only $16.00 Shipped & Sold by Amazon.

Depends if the $100 extra is worth it for 3D, Clear Voice II, & Optical/Wireless Sound Sync...
I would pay the extra $100...you get a few more features

AND it includes delivery

than in itself is worth $50.00

How cheap can the glasses be found? This was $799 from BuyDig with 2 pairs of glasses earlier this week.

How does this compare with the Samsung from Costco for picture quality? I don't really care about the extra features or 3D.

Which Samsung TV in Costco are you referring to?

Active 3D is the pits, headaches galore. Some people might be fine with it though.

Can anyone tell me what year this one is? I know with all 2013's and beyond they have DISH Network built in so that you don't have to purchase an additional receiver. Anyone know first hand if that will work on this TV?
