This one or the G3240 deal for 50$ less?>? will be for parents. no gaming is it a big different is speed starting up porgrams and OS?

That's showing up as $200 more. If the Asus really is only $100 more, it would be worth the upgrade over this deal.

Edit: Never mind. Saw the coupon code (79449). I'd go with the Asus unless you really just need something basic. An i5 with 8 GB RAM would be a big upgrade and more future-proof. Plus the integrated graphics on the Asus is good enough for low to medium quality gaming at 720p resolution with many new games: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Inte...106.0.html
