Denny Scher, Page Plus Marketing Manager, posted on HowardForums (08/14/14) as follows: "Yes, 4G LTE is coming to Page Plus. I won't announce a date at this time, but it's not too far off."

Till now, we heard such statements from Page Plus dealers. However, this is the first time we have heard a similar statement from the management of Page Plus.

However, they are no longer as cheap as they used to be relative to the GSM MVNOs. They'll need to fix that next.

yep. they'll probably not go cheaper and just add LTE. personally I would prefer no LTE and cheaper plans.

until they support 4G LTE phones without having to flash then I don't think they'll get a lot of customers.

I've used PP for awhile now and will probably end up switching to Republic for 30-day trial. Anyways, my biggest complaint is that I had to flash a Virgin phone, my first and only custom job, which works fine, but because there was no 3G enabled prior to that I've been stuck with 2G forever. Being able to take most or some CDMA phones off whomever and port them over easier should be priority numero uno. Maybe a one-time fee of $5 that cs unlocks over the phone or a program you run online while usb is plugged in. I've seen other carriers like Metro phones where a few dollars and it's unlocked. PP needs something similar.

Other than that, their prices are ok but I'll past that considering the reception is good.
