I think you can just get the spools for free through the Workx GT website + shipping. I guess it works out to a 6 pack of spools for a little under $9 with shipping.

Thats not free. Thats $9 for every spool pack. You cannot combine packs also.
Your best bet is to buy a 200 feet line and use that to refill your spools. Thats what I do, and believe it, it runs cheaper and better than worx line.

I have this one and thinking of getting it just for batteries since they're so expensive.
Any way I do buy 200 ft line spool and re-spool.
It works fine, $9 for 6 spools too much.

Forget it I have 24v version and I'm sure they're not swappable.
Just a note my 24v lasts about 20min, so I imagine 20v would last less time or are least be less powerful.

I bought one since I've been wanted a cordless one. How is it as an edger? For respooling, anyone recommend a brand of line or are they all the same?

I just got this and am pretty impressed. I have a normal gas trimmer too but this thing is so light that I'm more prone to use it for light duty work. Works great as an edger.
