I would like to see how ppl use a 12.2in tablet. I'm thinking it's a niche market.

I use mine for a lot of reading and also drawing because it has the pen interface but mine is the note not the tab.

I wouldn't mind one of those. I'm getting up in that age where I will need reading glasses soon. This might help that a little. Plus more real estate for browsing etc wouldn't hurt either. I think it comes down to the weight and how bulky it is in real life. Haven't had one in my hands to try it out.

I went from a iPad Retina to a Note 2014, which was heavier. I got used to it pretty quick. I'm right there with you on the eye issues. Already have reading glasses! While I love the Note 2014, I could use more real estate as well. This has a 1 year warranty and no tax I believe. I'm heading over to Costco today and they sell this so I'll play around with it. Should know quickly if it's too large/heavy. I could probably sell my Note 2014 for around the same (quickly looked on Ebay) so it would be a push $$$ wise. I'm good with that!

Thanks for the input, sounds like we are in the same boat. Would you mind reporting back what you think of it when you get back from Costco and have a moment?

It states that in the title. Also, it has a one year warranty. Many refurbs we've seen are 90 days only. A nice plus.
To michi098, I totally forgot Costco closes at 6:00pm on Saturdays. Got there and the enter door was closed. Doh! Will go back tomorrow.

Nah some people are weary of seller refurbs vs manufacturer refurbs that's all I meant. One year warranty is def a big plus though.

I received my note 12.2 a few days ago manufacturer refurb and I swear it's brand new. I'd say the weight is ok but does get a little heavy after extended usage. Also I like sleeves for my tablets instead of wrapping them in cases making them bulkier. Here's a nice cheap one that I love http://www.ebay.com/itm/310938430...1497.l2649.

the 1 year warranty is not manufacturer warranty, but by the seller only , is that correct?
