Best Buy is currently offering 50% extra for video game trade-ins from August 24-30. It is active! They pay you with a Best Buy gift card.

For example, a game that normally trades-in for $10 will now net you $15.

Yeah they usually leave the old TIV up for a while to build hype. TIV will be lowered before stores open guaranteed.

If you fear that, you can go ahead and do your online submission now while prices are this amount and take advantage of it.

PS4/XB1 - Wolfenstein: The New Order
Release date- May 20, 2014

Now's a good time for GCU members who pre-ordered Wolfenstein to trade it in. With the 20% GCU discount and +$20 BB pre-order bonus certificate they basically can get a 100% return on their investment after three months of owning the game. (Not to mention the extra $5 BB emailed everyone who pre-ordered to make up for their failure on the Panzerhund figurine).

Edit:
*Btw, it's true that trade-in values tend to shift the next day when a promo like this goes live on Saturday night, so keep an eye on them.

I guess we will have to wait until later today to get the real numbers. Seems like a slap in the face to drop mlb from $32, to $30 and say that's a 50% trade in bonus.

laugh out loud I would check the values of some of my games, but I know I don't have anything that's worth a damn at this point. Their trade-in program has somehow managed to out-Gamestop Gamestop. At least those blood suckers don't keep the TIV's for older stuff at $.50-$1 unless it's an ancient title.
