Okaaayyyy, thanks for sharing all of the opinions you've shared in this thread. You have your opinions, I have mine. Do you have any actual experience with stainless steel tub dishwashers to say it's just marketing hype? Oh, wait, that would just be anecdotal and therefore pretty much irrelevant based on your reasoning.
It says you need to purchase $100 in an install kit. Boo
This is not true. My sister just bought it and I was able to install it for her using the GE universal kit at HD for $25. Only thing I used out of the package was the 6' hose and the right-angle adapter for the water hose.
Metal tub dishwashers resist stains better and is often quieter and not a lot more.
Agree, we went from plastic tub to stainless tub when we got the bosch eons ago...no spots on the dishes even though we have water so hard you can walk on it, this even after running softener every night....now after 11 years my Bosch has crapped out but they don't make the biscuit color anymore and all other appliances in my dated kitchen are biscuit so I have to switch brands...have been considering the whirlpool gold...will be a downgrade for sure!
