Another hot deal from T-Mobile for people with high data usage:

"Starting September 3rd, adding a tablet – any tablet – to a postpaid Simple Choice phone plan costs just $10 per month. And right on top of that, the Un-carrier will match your smartphone’s LTE data plan – up to 5 GB a month – reserved for use on your tablet. For example, a customer with a Simple Choice smartphone plan with 5 GB of LTE data can add a tablet with another 5 GB of data set aside for use on that tablet, for just $10 per month. That’s a total of up to 10 GB of LTE data. And that’s all on top of the 200 MB of free LTE data every single month for the life of your tablet."

Too bad they don't match unlimited for unlimited lol, but even if they match up to 10GB for an unlimited that'd be pretty sweet.

I can live with 5GB however its my understanding that Apple I pad Air is not one of the eligible tablets for the data plan with T-Mobile. that's unfortunate.

Where did you hear that the iPad Air would not work on T-Mobile? As long it is a cellular-equipped model, it works great. My aunt is enjoying her iPad Air on T-Mobile.

When did you know she joined T-Mobile? when researching tablets that are allowed on T-Mobile via their website Ipad4 & mini does come up but not the Ipad Air?

Well will have to call and ask for this promotion.

What does cellular equipped model mean? have in-built cellular capable with LTE ; how do you find that out?

Um you should know if you have the cellular model of the iPad. You would have paid significantly more to buy it.

Or you could go by the model number on the back. 10 seconds of Googling yielded this chart.

Family Plan – 10 line maximum confirmed (officially)

We’ve been banging on about this for weeks now, but, T-Mobile has officially announced that customers will soon be able add up to 10 lines to their Simple Choice family plans.

T-Mobile is expanding its simple, low-cost pricing from a maximum of five lines per account to 10, in response to the needs of families and small businesses.

Consumers can add additional lines, up to 10, for just $10 per line after the 2nd line. And only at T-Mobile can you add unlimited 4G LTE for just $30 extra per line.”

Press release for $10 additional line after 2nd line http://newsroom.t-mobile.com/news...y-plan.htm

Press release http://newsroom.t-mobile.com/news...ID=6147683

I will update this with more data.

I'm using iPad Air on t-mobile network.

By the way, t-mobile website (http://prepaid-phones.t-mobile.com/sim-card) for compatibility check isn't up to date. Fact is, the iPad Air is the first iPad supported officially on t-mo.

so $160 for 10 lines for unlimited talk+text and 2.5gb each line until January 2016?
Wow, even better than the $200 price that was mentioned a few weeks ago for 10 lines.
