Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy a projector and I have narrowed it down to three projectors that are pretty appealing to me. All three are in the same price range and seem to have good reviews on Amazon. There are some differences between the projectors and I don't know which one to pick. Frown

All three have the same lumens with the AAXA LED Android having a 50 lumen increase.
The Vivitek and LG boasts to have a 30,000 hour operation time; the AAXA having a 20,000 hour. Does this really make a difference? I'm kind of skeptical with these numbers.
The LG and the Vivitek is 3D ready. The AAXA is not.
The AAXA has built in Android with full OS functionality.
The LG and Vivitek have plenty of reviews with most of them being good, the AAXA having few reviews and most of them being fair.

Which ones would you guys choose? I'm still having a hard time choosing between these three. The AAXA has more lumens and that should be brighter than the rest right? That's the only thing that is really important to me. Has anyone had any experiences using these projectors?

I would love your input!!

Thank you in advance shake headshake headshake headshake headwootwootwootwoot

Just to offer my input: I don't believe the difference between 500 and 550 lumens would be that significant. Sometimes numbers lie and if the reviews on the AAXA are only fair, I would definitely rule that one out. The Qumi Q5 can be had for $340 refurbished, which occasionally falls to $290. (That's why I saw your thread - I have a price alert for it). I think that would put it below the price point of the other projectors, if you were okay with refurbished.

Hmmm I may have to look into that option even though I haven't had much luck with refurbished units for some reason... If anything I may want to bit the bullet and try out the AAXA projector for myself and see how it is. I've seen some videos on youtube and am doing some comparisons. I read somewhere that the lumen number on the projectors aren't really "true" lumen output. We'll have to see about that!
