Is one eneloop better than 2 regular rechargeable battery though? Even this deal is more than double a recent Die Hard rechargeable battery deal.

Limit is 5. Get a 25% discount on each.
Wish I had a use for AAA. Just don't. I have a lot of Sanyo Enloop AA's. Love them.

Some of the best rechargeable I've ever owned. Since getting on SD, I've bought many and they've lasted for years, holding up their charge. Definitely in to buy a few more for this price.

Had no idea Panasonic bought Sanyo. LOL

Yes, if they don't use Ni-MH cells. But if you don't want to pay extra for the brand name you can find some cheaper ones. There is usually a difference in quality when you get an Eneloop though. Just make sure they are Ni-MH cells. It also seems these Panasonic branded Eneloops are the newest version so they can be recharged more.

Eneloops are fantastic. If you are using the batteries in something you would run them down in a day or two, then you may not care about the difference. But if you are using them in a device that you only turn on periodically, these are as good as it gets in rechargeables for holding their capacity over time.

Good to know, thanks! I am a little pissed at the 24 Die Hard NiMH I received from Dorcy because so far they are all coming pretty much totally discharged, which makes me think they are OLD. Think that could hurt their lifespan?
