SSD prices are falling faster than flash drive prices.

This is $0.40/gig.

Pretty standard for EVO drive. I'd wait if you don't need one.

Matches the Amzn deal a while ago which sold out in a day.

These go FAST! Especially for such a good quality drive!

Good NOT great price. With the 850 line starting, these will get lower IMHO.

So if you need one, get it. If you can wait, do.

"They go fast"! If a deal takes a whole day to sell out that is not fast.

But SSDs, until more recently, didn't always exactly scale up with $/gig like HDDs do/did.

Even if there are new drives coming out, that may drop the price, but in all reality, if you want an SSD, the time to get one is now. They are the single best upgrade you can do. Paying an extra $25 now vs. 3 months is not worth your wasted time.

Don't worry about the oogy boogy scary "It only can write so many times". So could an HDD - mechanical parts will fail overtime. At least SSDs offer you the ability to read from the 'forever'. When an HDD goes, it goes.

Don't worry about putting your pictures or some movies or whatever on an SSD - the point is to store things, right? It's in the name of the product!

$200 is a good deal for a high capacity SSD from a very good maker. It's obviously not the deal of all deal enders on this item, but if you purchase it, feel good knowing you got a fair price.
