Yup, these kinds of discounts are not common on Guild and it is a very respected brand among those in the know.

Looks much better than the Sonoran deal you posted, Linux. That back is gorgeous on this one.. wow.

For more of their deals: http://www.worldmusicsupply.com/m...1407942080

Seems like these are just all the Closeout's that Linux is posting.

I took a gamble on a DBZ DC20S-SNA dreadnought and got it two days ago. It's Chinese made, but the build quality is actually pretty darn nice and def beyond worth the price I paid. I swapped the strings out to Martin FX Phosphor Bronze Light-Mediums and now it sings. Setup was also surprisingly good out of the box. Will make a great camping / beater acoustic that I am not afraid to travel with that looks, sounds, and plays surprisingly good. I'm sure this Guild is head and shoulders better especially with the added pickup system and hard shell case, but the DBZ I purchased may be an option if looking for a great beginner acoustic that doesn't break the budget.

LOL "those in the know" would point out that these are made in China, and not among the models they would "respect." Guild is a dying brand being kicked around under different parent companies.

Actually these are made in Mexico and the finishing and setup are done in the USA.

It has a pickup so to technically it should work. That said, Rocksmith really isn't acoustic friendly. If you are buying for rocksmith I would buy an electric.
