just remember you cant completely hide behind a us vpn.

in the us a vpn operates just like an ISP and they have your real ip if they get a court order.

Well... yes and no. There are no data retention laws in the US. So they can't hand over what they don't have. So the real question is do they keep logs.

My PIA is about to run out. I've been really really happy with them. How is TG?

ROFL! they do keep some kind of logs though for criminal activities.

they arent going down for your illegal activities.

if you believe any vpn doesnt keep some kind of logs you got another thing coming when you do something illegal and they go after the vpn. LAWLZ!

when it comes to a vpn you want to pick one thats been around for several years and didnt just set up shop yesterday.

Some of them swear up and down that they don't. If you can't trust a VPN, then there's no point in using them at all. People that run Tor exit sites have to deal with that all the time. They don't log. Regardless people should chain.

simply put unless you are working there at the vpn and see that no logs are kept you dont know that. they can tell you whatever you want to hear, but you really dont know for sure.

this is why i said go with a vpn that has been around for years and not one that just popped up recently.

think of it was your woman taking the pill. you dont really know unless youa re there seeing her take it. thats why so many have been tricked, cause there werent watching her take it.

I use it for UK TV and except for some initial issues with connecting after i signed up I have no issues with speed or buffering. They also are very responsive and cheaper than the $36 I was paying

Thanks for this information - that is my primary interest as well. In my expierence, the cheap/free VPN and proxy services have spotty reliability at best. TorGuard and PIA appear to have generally positive reviews. Based on past years, I expect to see a discounted PIA offering this weekend, too.

PIA makes a strong argument that they don't log.

http://arstechnica.com/tech-polic...r-privacy/

I very rarely torrent, no illegal pron and about the only reason I use a VPN is to watch the BBC from here in the States. That means I'm not that concerned with logging. I use and like Witopia and I have no idea if they log or not.
