Check your credit card transactions or just request a new card as a precaution. Customers have been seeing unauthorized charges on their cards after making purchases at Polk.

Is Polk Audio still considered high end?

Doesn't appear to work on car audio. dB series is the only in stock online car audio products.

Doesn't work with RTIa or TSx. Or any floor-standing speakers. What exactly does it work with?

I have a Polk Audio home theater system, I am very pleased with the sound quality and material quality used. I also have a polk audio subwoofer in my 'stang and that thing hits hard.

The gaming headset quality is great. However they still have not fixed the mic issue for the XB1. So without the aftermarket mic the 4shot lacks on the mic. As for the 360 quality is good all around just 12 feet of cable and an small external device to deal with. The addition of the XB1 like controls are a nice addition for the X360 also. Audio and voice on 360 are great. Audio is great on XB1 also only needs one cord to connect to controller so very simple. The XB1 model is only really worth it if you get the new mic and adapter for free with purchase.

No, they are mass market like Klipsche and JBL.

Went to Emotiva Road Show and was shocked to see Polk's top of the line towers in the two channel room. They did not sound good to me.

to each his own.. i would say polk can be 'towards' high end for 'normal' people.... if your rich you might have access to the "real" high end (mcintosh for example). But have fun spending half a million dollars on your sound equipment.

If the site would load I'd like to have the 9500 soundbar. If the coupon works on it...

99% of their stuff is mass markey today. a very small percet would be considered "higher end". personally i was never a fan of their sound, always sounded overly bright and caused ear fatigue.

I disagree. Sound is generally excellent imo for the price range, particularly in the rtia and lsim series. I suppose it might depend on the type of music you listen to and your particular tastes but the higher end Polk stuff is hardly what I would call cheap and not for the average person on a budget. Of course like anything else, you can spend a lot more and get even better sound, but you are paying for it and most people are not going to spend $6000+ on speakers.
