I got 100 Mbps down 25 up, HBO, X1 DVR and Preferred Tier channels for $99.00.

Preferred Tier is pretty much everything but premiums.

your deal is pretty good though if you can live with 45 channels. I think preferred tier is over 200 and $99 includes the DVR and HD fee

On the website for internet only at 50 Mbps, it is advertised as $34.99. For existing customers anyone share what the final monthly total would be after taxes and fees etc?

I got this plan for $50 a month ago. No HD sucks. I swear it's worse standard definition than AT&T standard definition. It's like they make it worse to force you to upgrade.

How quickly can you hit the data cap they have when you have the highest speeds?

About 3 days at 25Mbps, so maybe 24 hours with this. Big Grin

$69.99 for existing customers.. I'm paying 50/mo now until October.. would probably just pay the $10/more a month to avoid fighting Comcast for he discount, but at $70, probably will have to go to the retentions department.

Until they start enforcing it again, it doesn't really matter. If you log into your Comcast account to view your usage, it still says, "Note:enforcement of the 250GB data consumption threshold is currently suspended", and it's been that way for quite some time [arstechnica.com].

Although to answer your question, really it wouldn't take much time (assuming you actually find a source that's able to sustain an upload at 50Mbs, you could hit 250GB in half a day).

I hope for some Comcast customers that's true. I just kept seeing posts(http://forums.comcast.com/t5/Basi...-p/1778256) after doing some research of people that have been affected. I am one of the lucky few to have Frontier FiOS as an alternative. Although they don't provide over 35/15 where I am, I almost consistently have it pushed to the max every day, and haven't heard a peep from them. I couldn't bring myself to pay for "super fast" speeds that only allow me to get throttled more quickly.

I've been charged extra for going above the cap all year.
