I use my mobile to see the time. 250$ is pretty high for a watch.

Without a fully round screen this is DOA. Flat tire look is terrible.

if you ever have to type, "Full retail"...
then it's doesn't belong on SD.

no matter how much you wanna be the kid with the newest tech on the block, still not an SD.

Also check out the reviews first. Battery lasts HALF a day, performance is laggy, Android Wear is meant for square devices so some screens are cut off, and the screen resolution is low and you can make out jagged edges.

Nice attempt but a waste of money until battery life doubles and software is updated.

Is that why I see front page deals all the time for hot items that are full retail? PlayStation 4 was a great example..

yup, those shouldn't be here either... really no need to list every new piece of electronics for MSRP in a forum for SDs, it's a waste.

feel bad for op, SD is not a forum for tech adopters even though most deals on here are tech related. very few MSRP items ever make it into a good deal here on SD.

anyway, the watch is great, and 250 is a bargain for what you get. though there might be struggles since this is a first gen product. curious to see how much LG prices their R watch, so that one doesn't have the little bar at the bottom of the watchface. also, the iwatch is rumored to be around 400 bucks... guess we will find out on Tue whether it's worth the premium

Reviews are saying bad battery life but im gonna take a huge risk and assume they are getting too many twitter notifications so that's why they get shit battery life. I just need mine to last a full day.
For most people it'll probably get cheaper real soon like the moto X, but I've been waiting for this ever since I first saw it a few months ago so I'm not gonna wait for the 50 dollar discount. I'll order one today

LG r is 299 but it's thick. I prefer the look of 360

All those people use it far more in a review than what you should need to use it for. If you are using it normally, which is nothing more than occasionally checking for notifications and checking the time, you could probably get 14-16 hours.
