Hey guys,

I didn't see this posted, so I thought I'd share. This matches the FP Price for the Cool White version a few days ago!

Dumb question, but does a19 refer to the socket size or bulb? Is a19 normal sized? Are these for regular lamps or directional canisters?

A19 refers to the bulb shape, base type is different...
hope you're ready, cause it's pretty stupid Wink

base types [bulbs.com]
shape and size [bulbs.com]

and, yeah, a19 is "normal" for most peoples uses.

Warm white 2700K is yellowish, which is what most people have at home. Perfect for what I want to use them for, bought 5 ! Thanks...Not too happy about the light output but w/e.

Thanks OP, was waiting for this color but decided that I don't have a use for 40 Watt equivalent bulbs.

What kind of fixtures do people use these in?

I don't think 40 will be bright enough for me. Waiting on 60+.

If you're interested in this bulb, take a look at Home Depot to see if their older Cree LED bulbs are subsidized. They're ~$5 in my town and probably a much better bulb.
