Nice price, but I'm waiting on the 2nd Gen of the Android wear watches before I think about buying one.

Must have had quite a few duds right off the shelf, not surprising since it's their first run at this.

Not a bad idea, I want to try it out to see if it's even that helpful, and if not eBay.

typically across all cowboom products a grade 7 comes in practically new condition, from my experiences.

I just bought a G watch off craigslist last night for $120 (it came with an aftermarket metal band too). I've only used it for a few hours, but I'm liking it so far. I had a sony smartwatch 2 for a few weeks before this that stopped working when sweat got into it. Compared to the Sony, setup with the G watch was really simple. The actionable notifications are great. Dismissing notifications on the watch and having them dismiss on the phone too is really convenient. I've only done a few tests with the voice commands, but they seem to work well and I can definitely see them being useful in situations where I don't necessarily want to have my phone in my hand (ex. driving).

Again, since I haven't used it for more than a few hours so far, I can't comment on battery life. I've been indoors most of the time so I can't comment on screen visibility in the sun. I also haven't used it for music controls yet, so I don't know how well it handles that task yet.

If you are looking to try a smart watch, I'd give the G watch a try. It's not the most stylish option, but at this price it's a great trial option that isn't TOO much of an investment. If you use it for more than cowbooms 15 day return period and you decide you don't like it, you can sell it on ebay and pretty much break even.

Depends. Biggest differences are battery life and screen, though user experience is quite a bit different. If you don't mind charging the watch every night and not being able to see the screen outside, the features of android wear are quickly going to surpass anything pebble can do.
