Currently having issues checking out. When you do find a store that has them in stock (a lot do not anymore), then when you get to checkout you will get error "units are not available at the store you have selected. Please return to your cart to reduce the quantity, select a different store or remove this product." You can try contacting Best Buy support to see if they can help you, otherwise the deal appears to be not working until further notice.

Edit: Called at 8:00pm EST and trying to purchase the iPhone 5 16GB Black they said I needed an ATT account to purchase it. Agent either didn't know or wasn't understanding, YMMV I guess.

I called also. The 64gb works w/ shipping. It's extremely ymmv to get the 16gb. There was one in my whole state of wi. I tried to have them transfer it to my store. And someone bought it within that 10 minutes of being on the phone. So just because they say it's in your area/state it sure does not mean so. 1 in my whole state.

Iphone 5 Att black or white for 349.99 available for shipping.

Update for the above item: iPhone 5 AT&T black or white 64GB for 349.99 currently Only Available for Store Pickup.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU TRY ANYTHING BELOW TO UNLOCK
These can be unlocked by simply plugging them in and doing a restore in iTunes before you do anything else. Once I did that and the phone rebooted, I put in a T-Mobile SIM and I'm showing 2 bars of EDGE.
If they are sold without activation on a contract, they are in Apple's database as clear and will unlock if restored before any activation.

UPDATE: While it will accept the SIM. It will reboot to re-activate with it and then fail. Sorry for getting everyone's hopes up.

  • You can use these phones on other mobile networks when you unlock it.
  • Two methods to unlock: Call AT&T to request an unlock or pay someone $50+ on eBay or other websites to have a remote Apple unlock done.
  • **Don't call AT&T, use the website to request unlocks if you are a customer or were a customer.
  • AT&T will not unlock if you are not a customer.
  • AT&T will unlock for current and former customers.
  • The phone may have to be activated before you can unlock it.

The no commitment "replacement" price is $249 for the 16GB, but good luck finding any as it is not available for shipping and none of the stores seem to have stock.

$199 for 4S (16GB) replacement phone (no contract)
$250 for 5 (16GB) replacement phone (no contract)
$299 for 5 (32GB) replacement phone (no contract)
Look under "all price options"

So, while I'm not the poster, maybe you shouldn't be surprised

But, it is a repost: http://slickdeals.net/f/7195938-apple-iphone-4s-16gb-contract-free-199-free-ship-best-buy?v=1.
