Can't access www.staples.com!!!

NobleCrusader 352 55 September 16, 2014 at 09:29 PM More Staples Deals
For some reason, I can't access www.staples.com on my Win 7 Chrome browser. I keep getting this message:

"This webpage is not available"

This is the only website with this issue. Is Staples punishing me for taking advantage of too many SlickDeals? LMAO

I can access www.staples.com without problem on other browsers.

Any ideas? TIA

Click the "more" button on the error message and copy & paste what is says to this thread. It could be a DNS issue of some sort.

Try opening an incognito tab and then going to staples.com

This is a common problem, has happened to me more than once. I either use a different browser or clear the cache, change up the URL or it just fixes itself. I actually think this is an issue with Staples, not chrome, as it doesn't happen with any other website.

Yes, it works incognito. When not incognito, this is what I get when pressing the more button. TIA.

The connection to www.staples.com was interrupted.
Check your Internet connection
Check any cables and reboot any routers, modems, or other network devices you may be using.
Allow Chrome to access the network in your firewall or antivirus settings.
If it is already listed as a program allowed to access the network, try removing it from the list and adding it again.
If you use a proxy server...
Check your proxy settings or contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working. If you don't believe you should be using a proxy server: Go to the Chrome menu > Settings > Show advanced settings... > Change proxy settings... > LAN Settings and deselect "Use a proxy server for your LAN".
Error code: ERR_CONNECTION_RESET

I get that error intermittently too on various sites. For me it occurs the most when either chrome or windows have pending updates that haven't been installed yet. Browser addons can also cause this. If it consistently works in incognito, it's probably an addon (they're disabled by default in incognito).

This message can also be caused by an issue with your network / internet connection, when that's the case it isn't site specific.
