Thank you Sullivan! Added your Q variation in with this week's batch. And thanks to this week's insert preview group...you guys rock. Feel free to rep them HERE
Inserts have been updated in the wiki through 2/3, with expirations deleted out through yesterday, Sunday 2/3. Have a great week (despite the sadness that lingers from yesterday's Superbowl)! |

So just double-checked my 12/9 12/9 RPs. There was a $1/2 Kelloggs Cereal Q (good on any over 10oz), but the expiration on that one is for 1/20/13. If there is another one for that week, it was never listed in this thread. Too bad...I guess you could print a more restrictive one from the Kelloggs Family Rewards program. Here's a link [kelloggsfamilyrewards.com] to the free ones that don't require point redemptions. ETA: Just in case you received the 7-11 free coffee Q in your 1/27 inserts (very limited distribution), today is the day to use it! Last edited by shopnut; 02-04-2013 at 02:03 PM.. |

Thx guys, you two are totally rockin'! On a business trip this week and thought I would find time earlier to update. I even brought my inserts with me. Will be home by Saturday evening at the latest but will strive for an earlier update. In the meantime, getting my fix through the phone.

rock (but you already know that).OK peeps, just did a quick and dirty update. Added in the 2/10/13 inserts per Scrapinlin's contribution from Southern Savers (she had the longest list). Will add in the rest of the regional variations from our usual heroes and do some data checking against my own inserts when I get back home. Expired Qs have been killed off through 2/13. So we are all set for V-day. Hope you're all getting lots of nookie today.

There is an old thread that has latest expiration date in any one insert. It was very helpful to me because I knew when to throw out my old inserts. Do any of our "heroes" want to help out in this endeavor as well? I wouldn't mind volunteering for some of the work, but I can't do the whole thing myself.

Every single week, my inserts have more MQs & SQs & MIRs than anything the early posters put up on the preview threads. I wouldn't trust that any one source that wasn't directly Red Plum, P&G or SmartSource could get the answer right. My method is relatively quick, easy, cheap & accurate. Go through your inserts when you get them. Mark on the cover of the insert the date of the last expiration date -- make sure you do it were the ink won't bleed to a coupon on the other side. Bingo -- go through your inserts monthly & throw out the ones with an old date on the cover. Keep in mind, even in the same city, the inserts will vary from one newspaper to another so don't mix inserts from different newspapers until you mark them. Example, one one street corner, you can buy La Opinion, LA Daily News and LA Times --- the inserts will vary from each in the same weekend -- only the P&G is likely to be the same usually. |

Is it ok if I agree with both of you? Personally, I follow Rose's method since it doesn't take much time for me to ID my last expiration date. She's right about the regional variations, it changes a lot throughout the country. But Ttlmmky, your post had me thinking about an easier way of getting the unexpired inserts using the data that we have, which would probably serve well for people who are getting the same inserts as those being reported in the weekly previews. I've done an update once before manually and it was a pain in the butt!
So to give a little background, I'm sure that you've noticed that the inserts in the wiki follow a very specific format. It goes: coupon info, (Date of Expiration in mm/dd/yy format), (Store name, if applicable), Insert abbreviation, Date of insert in mm/dd/yy format This was set up originally by Thxlic when she set up this thread originally, and I've tried to follow it and have built formulas in my personal wiki workbook in order to be able to use it as a way of easily identifying expired coupons. One thing that I have to do a little differently is to make sure to use [ ] instead of ( ) around anything that is not a date, otherwise my expiration date formula doesn't pick up info correctly. As long as the insert coupons are entered into the wiki in the same way as I mention above, we should be able to use the attached Excel file to look for unexpired inserts. I think that most of us can update the file fairly easily using the info from the wiki. The basic idea is to copy & paste data from the wiki into the file, then refresh the pivot table. I've written up instructions in the tab called "Current Qs". I put this together in Microsoft Excel 2007. (And have totally forgotten about how pre-Excel 2007 works) It's not what I would call pretty, but should be functional. One drawback, the sort function in Excel doesn't do a good job of recognizing dates in a pivot row description, so it will not be in perfect order. But I think that this could be fairly useful and will be easier for you than to do a Ctrl-F on each insert date. It currently has info through 2/10 in it, so you can test drive it once we have the 2/17 data input into the wiki. In any case, feel free to use if you want. On another note, regional variations for 2/10/13 have been added to the wiki and all expirations have been deleted out through 2/16/13. Big big thank you to our insert previewers and all the regional variations that have been added. Please rep here and here. Those have been added to the wiki of this thread. If you have more variations, feel free to add directly to wiki #2, to the insert preview threads or pm if you're shy. ![]() Will be working on the 2/17 inserts later, but had a quick question. I was handed an insert from Safeway with a bunch of Mfr Qs in it. Does anyone know the date that this came in on? If it was a mailer, was thinking about adding it to the wiki too. Does http://www.taylortownpreview.com not exist anymore? The link takes me nowhere. :-(

Since then, most of the previews here seem to be coming in from Jasper's site (couponpreviews.info, I believe). For this wiki, the regional contributions from our own SDers are also included since there are always a couple of helpful people who mention additional Qs in the weekly preview threads. For which I am really happy for! And on that note, the wiki has been updated through Sunday, 2/24 for the SmartSource (plus the Alive! Q in the USA Weekend...2nd weekend in a row). All coupons that have expired through today, Sunday have also been deleted. Please be sure to thank our really nice previewers HERE. ![]() Have a good time at the stores! |

I also found out they don't exist anymore. The lady who ran the site was a very nice lady. I ordered from her for years. I hope everything is alright with her. |
