Not a bad deal but personally waiting for the complete lego pack to go on sale again (hopefully $20 not the $24.98 [isthereanydeal.com] like last time).

This deal is currently better than what's on the market. Lego HP 1-4 [isthereanydeal.com] and Lego HP 5-7 [isthereanydeal.com]

Unfortunately, the Steam versions of these games only work on Windows.

If you just have one controller, I believe that one player can use KB & Mouse and the other player can use the controller.
