Can you still get the extra 5000 for putting someone else on too or am I getting it mixed up with another card?

I tried for this card about 18 months ago and they denied me after phone recon, but this is oh-so-tempting to try again. $400/mo in phone/internet/cable (manage my + my parents) alone would pay for this card in a quarter, not to mention OSS parties.

Nope, you do not.
You can apply with personal SSN

Even if you didn't redeem any of the UR points for travel or transfer (a mistake, in my book) this would still be $750 in statement credit after meeting the minimum spend. Not many CC offer such tempting sign up bonuses.

I just got the Marriott Rewards card a few weeks back and am trying to churn as fast as I can with that one. Would getting this one negate me from getting the rewards from both?

I think that was an amex promo if I recall correctly

It's possible they did offer it for this card a while back but it appears not to be valid on this promo
