This isn't the greatest of deals, but for those of us on Sprint looking to buy a Note 4 on contract, you can save $50 off the Sprint store price:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/...25242302_3

Amazon: $300
Sprint price: Tree-fiddy

UPDATE: Sprint has followed suit and also changed its price to $300 (on contract)
UPDATE 2: Best Buy has (finally) followed suit. Best Buy has the immediate rebate in the form of a Best Buy gift card, so this might be the preferable option for many!

I've been checking amazon and it wasn't on here for any price when I looked. Good catch, I'm cancelling with Sprint won't match.

Keep in mind that it hasn't been confirmed whether Amazon is a participating retailer in the $200 trade-in promotion from Samsung. Some believe that Amazon is not a participating retailer since their trade-ins are handled by 3rd parties.

If you're looking to trade-in an older smart phone, than you still may be better off going with the Sprint store or Best Buy.

I pre-ordered from amazon, but I may cancel and go with the immediate gift card from Best Buy if I confirm amazon isn't participating.

I'm more on the side since they are not explicitly excluded, its worth the risk to save the $50. The whole thing is so disorganized that I'm fairly certain that enough complaining to customer service will get any rejection overturned.

It's going to be hard. They want dated printed material (that was my experience), very difficult to do with websites

Is there a big upgrade from the Note 3? I haven't paid much attention. I'm sure the Note 3 will be had cheap on Black Friday. Been wondering what to tell my GF to get since her contract is up.

well the note 3 is the polycarb build this has a metal frame.
note 3 has a 1080p screen note 4 has a 1440p screen
the note 4 is better in all ways but i highly doubt ud notice a significant difference.

do you really think a phone that is brand new and retails for 900 dollars would be 299 WITHOUT contract. One iota of thought firing through your synapses should be able deduce this.

Seems like this is going to be the best/easiest deal for the Sprint version. There are A LOT of questions regarding the Best Buy and/or Samsung trade-in options and at the end of the day, you're maybe saving ~$100 when you factor in taxes, the $50 price difference and value of a trad-in vs. what you could sell it for on eBay.

I actually bought one of the Walmart $30 Centura phones for Best Buy trade-in, but after all of the uncertainties around that program, I may just go with Amazon and be done with it.
