I just got this in my email today:

Get $25 after you spend $25 by November 30, 20141
Sign up for a Serve Account, verify your email address, and then activate your Card.
Add money and then spend $25 or more in one transaction before November 30, 2014 and you can get a $25 statement credit to your Serve Account.

https://www.serve.com/serveforamex/

Did a search for this and didn't see this come up as being posted anywhere else. So if it is, I apologize Embarrassment

Appears to be for NEW customers only. So current accounts do not apply. LOAD $25 onto your Serve account, SPEND at least $25, and then Serve will credit your account with an additional $25.

Serve has $1 Monthly Fee (no fee in NY, TX and VT) so I would cancel after the first month to avoid additional fees beyond the $1 if you are not planning to continue your account.

Couldn't find the offer on their website anywhere so I took a screenshot of the email they sent me

this is so stupid. I got this card about a month ago and haven't used it yet. Does it still deduct the monthly fee even when there are no funds? and Can I make two accounts?

There are plenty of Serve offers/deals throughout the year to justify a $1 a month charge, definitely worth keeping open.

Through the end of the year there is the $1 Serve credit when you spend $1 or more via Softcard so if your phone works with Softcard then that's a great reason to have a Serve account right there.

You can always cancel a account and avoid continuously paying the fees. I've canceled my inactive account

To avoid the $1 monthly fee, just transfer $1 from paypal to your serve card each month.
Not sure why anyone would want to cancel their serve card especially with small business saturday coming up where they can get back a total of $30 for $30 spent. Possibly even more with each extra subaccount created.

Is it common when signing up that you have to have your information reviewed?

Yes amex offers work for this card. You sync your serve card to facebook and/or twitter and add amex offers through there.

So, is this equivalent to a direct deposit which gives you the fee waiver? In that case, One can set a monthly $1 auto transfer from PayPal I think. If this is all true, I will get this card. Free $25 !

I did get the email today. Not sure if this is a targeted offer.
