Great savings with this promotion as Destiny itself is selling for $50 elsewhere.

Hey guys,

I looked around for good deals for Destiny and stumbled across this BOGO offer from Activision on Amazon.

I'm not sure when it ends but it appears that Activision is giving away Call of Duty Ghosts (Onslaught DLC included) with purchase of Destiny for the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=10127065011

Fine print update: Customers who purchase Destiny will get Call of Duty Ghosts for Free. Applies to only Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms. Customers must place both products in cart to qualify for promotion. Discount will be automatically applied at checkout. Offer valid when shipped and sold by Amazon.com. Amazon reserves the right to change or terminate this promotion at any time.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Here's the fine print;

"Customers who purchase Destiny will get Call of Duty Ghosts for Free. Applies to only Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms. Customers must place both products in cart to qualify for promotion. Discount will be automatically applied at checkout. Offer valid when shipped and sold by Amazon.com. Amazon reserves the right to change or terminate this promotion at any time."

I assume that they had lower demand (due to people converting to the next generation) than anticipated and are sitting on a bunch of copies so they want to incentive people to purchase both games.

Thanks for pointing that out though. I'll include the fine print in the original post to make it clearer.

Be aware that purchasing the physical copies of Destiny will not allow you to get the Xboxone/PS4 version upgrade for free. You can only get the upgrades buy purchasing digital copies of Destiny, same goes for the new CoD coming out. This might explain why they have such an overstock of physical copies.

Because there haven't been any good deals on Destiny. It's still $50 used (after tax/shipping).

The funny thing is that call of duty ghosts has been around 5$ for months and has more to offer than Destiny

$52-54 new on BB.
I can't believe how little people are willing to save to buy used.
