I gave it TU, but since the upper isnt assembled, its not for a novice. Requires a few specialty tools. Most people would be better off with a prebuild PSA upper for similar price.

You spell that word with a "t" at the end, not a "p", and the answer is 'Yes'.

Do they come loaded or do they actually expect me to take time off my busy day and load these myself?

I agree, if you can get a built PSA + shipping for around this price save yourself the trouble.

Although not for a novice, it isn't that difficult. There's plenty of instructional videos. I finished my first build a few months ago and the only non-standard tools I used were a bench mounted vice and some small punches.

^^^This. If you plan on succumbing to BRD (black rifle disease) by all means invest in the tools necessary to competently assemble an AR upper.

But assuming you don't anticipate the need to build multiple AR15s, it's much more cost effective to get a complete upper (preferably test fired and with headspace issues squared away) and satisfy your DIY urges by assembling the lower receiver.

But by-the-by, OP: totally TU on this deal. It's a great time to build an AR.
