needed some food for the mutt and came across these deasl, better than 69+ FP deal.

petflow [petflow.com] is offering 20% off with free shipping when you order 2 or more 30lb bags of Tate of the Wild dog food. At checkout, add code VPS20 or 20OFF to deduct 20% from your order, bringing the price down to $37.50 or so per bag.

Additionally, if you live in a state where petflow collects tax (NY/NJ/NV), or you want to save a couple bucks more, chewy.com [chewy.com] is offering the same Taste of the Wild (2) 30lb bags for $73 for first time autoship orders. Add the items to your card, proceed to checkout, and select "Make my life easier" for a 20% discount and free shipping on all orders over $49.

Edit: OMGosh! never thought i'd make it to fp...here's what my dog thinks of that: http://i.imgur.com/VwIejc4.jpg

Was a fan of Taste of the Wild, but no longer since they source some of their ingredients from China. I called the company and they confirmed it. The few pennies they save, they lose many times over in total sales lost. I guess they don't give a rats in light of last year's horrible event of many dogs getting sick and dying because of contaminated ingredients/food from China. Won't ever feed my Border this stuff.

That's good to know, thanks. I may have to start buying other brands.

Can you site a source or provide more details? I don't see anything about this Googling it.

At least "Taste of the Wild" has the best art on the front of the package... Some of those would look awesome framed in my log cabin.

This same company had contamination problems 2 years ago and issued a recall. Earlier this year, someone posted on their FB page claiming some insider knowledge about them sourcing some of their ingredients from China. I personally called them and they confirmed it was their only source for 1-2 ingredients. Call yourself and see what they say. I check their FB page from time to time and have never seen any change or repudiation in their sourcing from China.

Taste of the Wild is owned by Diamond and they have had many problems:http://petfoodtalk.com/blogs/diam...ds-recall/

4.5 stars overall, with 5 for the high prairie mix. I've fed it to my dogs for a couple years now, and both are happy and healthy with nice coats.

I was gonna get this last time but I was scraping the bottom of the barrel when it came up so had to buy b&m. grabbed it this time. tractor supply sells it for 50$ a bag, so basically buy 1 get 1 half off for me. been feeding my husky this stuff for a little under a year and she's had nothing but good results from it. thanks op
