I just got a email saying I got a mystery award to redeem in store between $5 and $5000.

Just a heads up

It's no mystery how much we appreciate you being a My Best Buy™ program member.
1. You must print this page to scan your Mystery Reward certificate in store. (Barcodes cannot be scanned from a mobile phone.)
2. Bring the Mystery Rewards certificate to your nearest Best Buy® store by 11/11/14. Ask a Customer Specialist to scan it to reveal the value. If the value of the Mystery Rewards certificate is:
• $5 to $500, you may redeem it immediately through 11/11/14 at participating Best Buy stores (not valid online)
• 250,000 My Best Buy points (that's $5000 in My Best Buy certificates), please call the toll-free number printed on your receipt by 11:59 PM local time on 11/17/14.
3. Redeem your certificate in a single transaction with a total purchase price equal to or greater than the value of the certificate.

Redemption Restrictions: Offer Certificates valued $5 to $500: (a) are redeemable, subject to verification, in one positive transaction for a discount off future purchases of products/services equal to or greater than revealed value (excluding tax); (b) are redeemable in Best Buy, Best Buy Mobile or Magnolia Design Center stores located in 50 U.S./D.C. (excluding P.R.) during normal store hours before store closings on 11/11/14; (c) are not valid for online purchases; (d) are not valid at Pacific Kitchen and Bath stores located in Best Buy stores or Pacific Kitchen, Bath and Electronics stores; (e) must be presented at time of purchase; (f) are valid for one-time use only; (g) cannot be used toward purchase of Best Buy gift cards, taxes, shipping and handling; (h) are not redeemable for cash, no change given back on redemption; (i) are valid on in-stock items only, no rain checks; (j) are not valid on prior purchases or as payment on Best Buy credit card; (k) are not transferable and may only be used by member to whom issued; and (l) will not be replaced if lost, stolen or expired. No cash refunds. Other exclusions may apply. If you exchange your purchase for eligible products/services with a total purchase amount (excluding taxes, shipping and handling) equal to or greater than value of Offer Certificate, you will keep value of Offer Certificate. If you return your purchase for refund in form of payment originally used when purchasing products/services, value of Offer Certificate will be forfeited and refund will be less the value of redeemed Offer Certificate.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I got one too. If I remember correctly, last time, there was a way to figure out how much they were worth without going to the store.

In 2012 (found this in another thread) it was:

4 00066 12091 7 = $5
4 00066 12107 5 = $20
4 00066 12116 7 = $50
4 00066 12125 9 = $100
4 00066 12134 1 = $500

It's the number at the top left barcode that you're looking for here...

I always get $5, so I'm guessing if it ends in "370970" you have $5. Wink

Thanks! My number also ends in 970 so it's probably 5 bucks too.
