Pro-Tip:

Go to the Walmart now and put the gun you want on layaway. Your layaway item will reflect the lowest price that was offered, and you'll get the 20% off - on or after Black Friday. You have until December 15th to pickup the item.

Walmart Layaway Policy

Restrictions
Does not include special order firearms, BB guns, pellet guns, paintball guns, or black powder guns. Firearm must be in stock at time of purchase to qualify. % off is based on original retail of items included.

This is my first thread. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

So basically 13% off face value for NC residents. Pretty good deal. You almost never get discounts on guns at walmart.

I think ill head on over after work and see what they've got.

Is there any fine print about that tactic? Do I have to go in during Black Friday to price match the Layawayed item or can I wait until the following week when it's not so busy?

I dont see why not. Though I have never tried. I mean, they sell them in the store just like any other merchandise.

I have paid with a combination of cash and credit before so I dont foresee it being a problem.

Doing a quick price check and seeing discounted giftcards + other stores that carry guns. OP may not be worth it but a different store + discounted GC.

Probably could use it on ammo when on sale too then. Can't be the only person who has thought of this... See no real restrictions on T&C on giftcards.

Yes, or just go during BF. Selection will be YMMV and likely only to what is in stock.

My friend just went to a Walmart and checked out a Colt 6920. They only had one in stock and it was all scratched up. He passed. Won't surprise me to see $650 Colt 6920s on BF online.

He said the Walmart gun counter guy wasn't even aware of the deal yet and had to look up the deal.
