Newegg [newegg.com] has it for $55 after coupon code TSMPCBFZ. This is the kit version so it comes with a bracket & sata cable.

The code was from this thread. Don't know why that thread got TD.

Code ends today probably 11:59pm PDT

240gb goes down to 109.99 using the same code. im not sure if the 10% student/faculty coupon will stack, but if it does you are looking at an intel 530 240gb for under a hundred bucks!

Newegg only allow 1 code. The 240gb has been $100 a couple of times with and without rebate.

Are these as fast as a 840 pro? Or just reliable drives?

It's a very reliable drive. If you're running benchmark all day, then yes the 840 pro is faster. If you're using as a boot drive, then you're most likely will not notice any difference.

The Kingston [newegg.com] drive comes out at ~$50. Which one would you choose?
