Thread Details

Hey Guys,

I know that this thread discuss this topic:

http://slickdeals.net/f/7276968-at-t-users-at-t-will-double-you-10gb-plan-to-20gb-or-2gb-to-4gb-u-might-be-dead?v=1

However, I think a lot of it is being buried and no one is noticing it (I didn't).

You can call in to get your 10GB plans increased to 15GB if you missed out last month.

From VorlonFrog:

If you have the "My AT&T" app loaded on your phone, you can do this yourself:
1) My Plan & Services
2) My Rate Plan
3) Modify My Current Plan

Bingo!

I was one of those who chatted.. I got my plan from 10 gigs to 15 gigs, A month lter, I get my bill and the Dumb F*** Att representative had changed my data to 60gb and I was charged $225 ($125 extra) for it and now At&t won't reduce that charge. I have really called them 10 times.

file a complaint with the FCC or FTC that would get their attention real quick.

i did both those things as well but never actually switched the service. They promised be the 15gb for $100 in writing and on the phone. Then when I sent to activate at the store with the appointment THEY created, they said it was no longer valid. I filed complaints but no follow up. I ended up staying with Cricket and just saving the $30 a month to use the same towers. AT&T has terrible terrible customer service and seemed to make no effort to rectify their mistakes. At least when I was with Sprint, they would make honest efforts to fix things.

Worked great. Called retention and had my 10gb plan upped to 15gb at the same price. I was worried about missing the 20gb upgrade option as I only switched to mobile share a week ago, but this makes up for it a bit.

Appreciate your breaking this into a new thread, OP, TU

Call into the retentions dept and ask them to bump your data up to 15GB if you are on the 10GB mobile share for no extra monthly cost!

Starting Tuesday, the Dallas telecommunications provider will offer 15 gigabytes of shared data for $100, the price it previously charged for 10GB of data. The offer is a limited promotion, and AT&T didn't say when it would expire
