Test image to see if the TV supports 4:4:4 chroma for best quality image (especially text) when used with a PC input:

Most HD content is 4:2:2 which is lossy compression. Your PC outputs 4:4:4 and if the TV doesn't support it magenta and red in particular will not be accurate.

All TV deals should have someone test the TV and report if it supports 4:4:4. It is very important for good image quality when used with a computer. This post explains it all [avsforum.com].

Got the 60 inch of this. Amazing and at 5-6 feet away since I do not have 20/20 Vision I can't tell the difference between 4K or Not. I just know it looks Amazing colors Popped so bright and Vivid. I mainly bought it because It looked so Amazing I thought it was an OLED and Samsung cut me a check for a broken 46 inch model $700 with depreciation. And best of all ITS NOT CURVED BS

UN60H7150 60 inch $$1,299 - $130 Movers Coupon I actually moved ! - $700 Samsung check = $470 out of pocket. Best of all check out side of Box rand number like UH02 will indicate its an Actually high quality Samsung made Panel. Mine is an its has zero flaws and or clouding.

On a Side note about 4K I'd rather buy a 4K PC monitor than a 4K TV there no content and with PC monitor distance you can actually see the benefits.

If you are a member I think the 7100 at Costco is a better deal at $1479. If you are into the smart TV part, I think the Costco model includes a wireless keyboard.

Plasma has deeper blacks and generally a better overall picture quality. Uses more electricity and some can buzz, nothing major. Higher refresh rate as well. It all comes down to what you want.
