Similar to the Discover and Barclays Credit Cards FICO score feature, AMEX card members can now access their FICO credit score via www.americanexpress.com. The other two pull from Transunion, whereas AMEX's FICO Score 8 is based on data from Experian.

The offer only appears in the new American Express website layout. See attachments of the new and old layouts.

(1) Log-in via www.americanexpress.com
(2) On the right hand side and underneath, "Your Last Log In," you will see "See FICO® Credit Score"
(3) Click and accept the terms and conditions
(4) View FICO credit score

I didn't make the cut either, Amex Creditscore direct link [americanexpress.com] seems to tell you for certain that your card(s) aren't eligible. creditkarma [creditkarma.com] for the win!

In the past, the FIA AMEX doesn't work on any of these "direct from American Express" offers. Well, with the exception of Small Biz Sat and Twitter.

"This whole.. I have XX company so my pee pee is 2" longer talk is hilarious. Who cares what company is cheapest, best, etc. Pick the company and plan you want and keep it to yourself."

You will not see the FICO Credit score offer with the old layout. See attachments. I logged in twice and the FICO credit score offer only appears with the new American Express layout.

It worked for me. The nice about it is that it is Experian which tends to be the bureau that gets hit the most with credit inquiry. Thumbs up OP!

You're welcome. I concur that Experian tends to get pulled the most. For example, Discover shows its FICO credit score based on Transunion's data, but pulls from Experian for credit applications.

I guess I don't understand how to log in to the "new" layout website.... I click the link and log in and get the "old" layout...

AMEX My Credit Score & Report offers a Credit Report and PLUS Score(R) from Experian, one of the major Bureaus.. The PLUS Score is designed to be indicative of your overall credit risk. PLUS Scores are not used by lenders and you should not rely on them exclusively to understand how lenders will view your creditworthiness. Lenders use several different credit scoring models

your link is NOT a FICO score...it's a FAKO score from Experian.

I still have not found the FICO score either on the "new" format. Sometimes I get the new format, most times I don't.

AMEX should get their act together. I can't fathom why they would offer the FAKO score and a FICO score to its customers. (although, I can't find the FICO score)
