1/3/15 Update: To anyone else still out there that has not picked your TV up yet, call each day to see what TVs are available and you may be able to get an upgrade. Others are getting 55" TVs worth $600. The last day to pickup your TV is Jan 8:

How long do I have to pick up once I am notified my item is ready? You have until January 8, 2015 to pick up your 1-Hour Guarantee purchase. http://help.walmart.com/app/answe...related/1/

Quote from Walmart :
"We're using our entire supply chain to deliver for our customers in a way no other retailer can," said Mac Naughton. "Our guarantee ensures our customers get the product they came for and enables us to organize the store in a way that makes the shopping experience better for everyone."

After listening to customers who used Walmart's 1-Hour Guarantee last year, the retailer has simplified the registration and pick-up process for those that do not receive the product during the event. This year, customers will be asked to take the following steps:

Bring their 1-Hour Guarantee ticket to the checkout lane and pay for the item. Visit Walmart.com before 12:59 p.m. ET Dec. 1 to enter the transaction code from the receipt and choose the store to pick up the item before Christmas. Provide the receipt when it's time to pick up the item. Any corresponding Walmart Gift Cards will be given to the customer at this time. [walmart.com]

Mac Naughton added, "We've taken significant steps to improve the 1-Hour Guarantee process from beginning to end. It's simple and seamless."

Also, the new guarantee only requires you to be in line. They will then sell the TVs to everyone in line. When they run out of TVs they will give a ticket to everyone in line to pay for the TV.

There are not a limited number of tickets either. See the image in my first post.

i just got off the phone with customer service. if your receipt does not say the phrase "KEEP YOUR RECEIPT FOR 1 HOUR GUARANTEE PICKUP" you need to go back to your walmart and have them fix it. you do not have a 1 hour guarantee receipt. sorry.

Box says refresh rate of 120Hz. Hope that is true!

Don't you remember last year? Customers were furious! I was one of them. The customers that got said tv had been there early that morning, claimed their tickets, went home and came back at 6pm for pick up. Several other "guaranteed in stock" items were not there either. Nowhere in the ad was there any mention of getting in a line for a ticket. When we asked customer service for a ticket because we were there at 6 they said "we've been out of the tickets since the store opened". For that we left our Thanksgiving dinner early!

This is the first Black Friday I will ever go to, mainly because of this guarantee. I've never seen a guarantee like this before. Here are the details:

*Limit 1 of each Guarantee Item per person, per transaction. Prices featured are available only between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. November 27 at your local store, except where prohibited by law. Check local store for hours.
Is that the same as it was last year?

That sounds like insane promise. They going to probably lose money when they sells these at that price...
If 100 people wants this per store, it's going to be expensive for them....

1-Hour Guarantee at Walmart
We're offering an exciting 1-hour in-stock guarantee on top holiday gifts during our Black Friday in-stores event. Between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, you'll be able to score great deals on the hottest items at your local Walmart. If we run out of inventory before 7 p.m., you'll still have the option to pay for the gift you want. We'll provide a 1-Hour Guarantee card that you can use for purchase at checkout. Once you get your receipt, simply register it at www.walmart.com/one-hour-guarantee. We'll make sure that you can pick up your selected item in the store of your choice by December 24.

Walmart's 1-hour in-stock guarantee items are available in stores only. Limit 1 per customer, per item.
I might have to bite on this, considering. Thanks OP!

How noticeable would the 60hz refresh rate be when playing video games?

If you don't already know the answer to that it won't bother you.

Consoles render at 60Hz max...As for PCs, just because a TV outputs 120Hz doesn't mean it accepts 120Hz, sorta like how when 1080p TVs first came out, most had no means of 1080p input, even the HDMI ports.

I meant no limit as in there is not a limited quantity. Everyone that shows up will get one eventually. I'll clarify that.
