Got my hopes up! Have a deal alert for the Gigabyte 970 G1 gaming so I can get a 2nd to SLI. Still, this is a good price if you're going small form factor.

Good deal. I just ordered the Zotac ZT-90101-10P which is only .8" longer than this one, but with two fans. I trust two fans more than just one. One could save another $20 by using PayPal Credit to pay, since the Google Checkout promo doesn't work for this deal.

Can you point me to the paypal credit deal info? I saw something about a "20PAYPAL" but that seems expired.

Yep! Here's the link to the $20 PayPal deal: http://promotions.newegg.com/Newegg/BML110708/

Keep in mind that this isn't a coupon; it's an account statement credit that kicks in after 2 bill cycles. Still, it's $20 for free so I took advantage of the offer. I'll just wait 2 months before I pay it in full. Plus, you get 6 months of 0% interest, so you don't have to worry about accruing interest while waiting for the credit to be applied.

I sold my 660 Ti and just installed the Zotac 970 yesterday. I purchased it from Newegg for $329 with a game. I suppose this is slightly faster since it is OC.

This card is so new it's not getting any reviews. It seems like performance is about on par with the standard size card?

Anyways, I'll wait for one of those.. I can see it only bringing prices down.

It's actually clocked faster than reference cards but that doesn't mean much since cards will throttle once they get too hot. However, from what people say on newegg, it seems like it does not have that issue as it stays quiet. Either way, I suggest the Asus 970 if you are not constrained to size. http://www.asus.com/us/Graphics_C...DC2OC4GD5/

Yeah =[

I bit the bullet anyways... wish there were more retailers outside of CA for computer parts.

Ahh it's only for new credit lines... I thought it mean't if I paid with my paypal credit. Oh well, I was dreading canceling and reordering just to save $20 but I'd be mad at myself if I had the option and didn't. Thanks either way.

It's really closed to full size performance-wise, I think it's clocked like 1 to 2% lower to accommodate the less available space for cooling. I suggest the Asus 970 if you are not constrained to size. http://www.asus.com/us/Graphics_Cards/STRIXGTX970DC2OC4GD5/
I have plenty of room in my case. I'm pretty set on gigabyte for the 900 series since they have 3x Displayport, 1x hdml, 2x dvi and everyone else has 1x Display, 1x HDML, 2x dvi.
