(hope i'm doing this correctly...)

Another chance for the people who missed it yesterday. It doesn't say the promo for the visa checkout anymore but I just tried it for hell of it and it worked! (edit: forgot the code nafvc25)

Hmm, just can't pull the trigger. Have been waiting for a 50" at @ $299 or less out the door, but now, I might just wait some more Smilie

Neighbor bough the 42" Changhong and I was very impressed with picture and finish of the unit.

1" smaller and $25 - $85 (depending on how you bought / price adjusted the Panasonic & your state sales tax % vs. Newegg)?

The specs for this TV show it has a "health alert timer" feature, apparently to alert the user every two hours about the negative impact of sitting around watching TV. For American viewers, it could be used as a reminder to get up and grab a new bag of potato chips for the next 2 hour viewing session, lol.

I purchased this on Wednesday and it was delivered bright and early at 8:00am yesterday. The cabinet seems to be built as solidly as my other more costly LG and Samsung TVs. I purchased it for my elderly mom so she isn't as picky about the pic quality. It isn't a bad picture for the price. I would also love to see if anyone has any calibration settings. The English in the owners manual is a bit "clunky", but readable. We tried to connect it to her Vizio Soundbar using AV out and RCA (red/white), but we couldn't get it to work. Switched to SPDIF with coax and the connection works great. I think it's a good tv for the price.
