This had a few TU couple months ago but required .edu email. Now it is already for $299 and no need of any .edu email. Pretty decent price for a 42" with Refresh Rate of 120Hz

link for the old post

Link for the BB sale [bestbuy.com]

You can also get it on eBay sold by Best Buy and get the extra "Ebay Bucks" Here is the link -Compliments of OldBean. Thanks OldBean

Its a great TV. Amazing picture and sound quality. The menu interface however is awfully similar to insignia TVs for some reasons.

For those debating between 40" vs 42", just remember its only 10% increase in screen size. 40" Insignia was selling for $179 at Best Buy also

I tested both TVs. For me, Insignia was the winner due to value.

i made a few mistakes regarding tvs this week and i regret not picking up that insignia, but i'm hoping that the sony 40" tv on cybermonday on amazon will be the same price as this and i'll wait and pick that up.

not bad but you are smarter to buy it from ebay. Ebay bucks qualified and if you bought the ebay gift cards at 10% off its a better deal. Here is the link to the ebay item (Best buy on ebay - same price new). Plus you can b*&@# and moan about sales tax on ebay and threaten them with a negative if they dont give you back the tax. (haha kidding. )

You can update your original post OP. And enjoy this fellas. Go to ebay and search for: 201193667460

Or click this link.

Did you buy it from Best Buy? You should be able to get it adjusted if it was just last Tuesday. Otherwise just return it and re-buy it again lol....

A tip on current Amazon flash deals )or any "deal" right now...they are lucky to last 60 seconds, most sold out by 30 second mark...literally! So if you want even the slightest of a chance, you better be sitting there with everything in place to have the order made in 15 seconds or less...or you will lose out.

Just some serious advice..just watch how fast all the electronics are getting sold out...even things that are NOT good deals are gone in 60 seconds these days.

Good luck!

Edit: You can get 10% back with discover. Quarterly + shopdiscover = $30 cashback.

120hz refresh rate is false. Look up the specs; it's truly 60hz. I hope this helps anyone teetering on the line of whether they want to get this product.

PS, SharpUSA website lists it at $400 vs BB's $480. The savings is really only $100.

I'm a total noob who doesn't know how to edit posts on the SD app. The Sharp website also lists it as an LCD-panel, not LED.
