How long are dell giftcards valid for? Any specific terms I should be weary of?

I asked Amazon to price-match for this deal. rejected. because pirce-match is not subject to rebate or coupon issues. I didn't know that, bro. Anyway I'm looking fo 55lb5900 worth under $500.00.
Can I make it finally or not?

I just received my 200 GC from previous deal and pulled the trigger on the 60" plasma from Dell (front page few days back).
Now I'm not sure what to do. Should I cancel that and get the 55"? I'm not sure if the 60" will be too big. I will be sitting about 8-9' away.

Same TV from Dell that got cancelled at $480 flat last time. Gonna bite again since it'll be cheaper after the gift card

how does this tv compar to the Samsung 60 inch deal posted here - http://slickdeals.net/f/7448164-60-samsung-un60h6203-1080p-smart-led-hdtv-150-dell-egift-card-798-free-shipping?v=1

I basically just want a good picture quality not using apps I have apple tv.. The LG looks much slimmer from pics.

I wouldn't take any chance with LG TVs. I have one right now (42in HDTV), and it's developed so many issues over time. There's a reason LG products are cheaper.

The Samsung is thicker, has an uglier bezel, and more input lag. You would get smart tv functionality but it's the slowest smart tv that Samsung has.

Agreed. Plus this is a better deal IMO and if you're only going to be sitting 8 to 9 feet away, a 55" would be more than adequate.

I'll have to disagree. I have two LG tv's one is a 37" over 7 years old 720p and tv has been flawless and my other LG is a 47" over 4 years old 1080p also flawless. I got a 55" panasonic now that has been a piece of junk, good thing i won it on a raffle. I would only consider buying LG or Samsung. You could've gotten a bad tv.

I just found out that I can't redeem my Discover Cash Back for Dell eCertificates any more. I would have jumped on this deal if I could since I would have been able to use $200 in eCertificates. Darn.

Not a bad TV but a bad model. Reports are all over. Also, if you gather data on the number of issues across products (not just TV), LG has a higher rate of issues than other companies that sell quality products. But, of course there's always a trade-in between cost and quality no matter what you are buying.

I pulled the trigger. $250 GC makes it a nice deal. I don't need a smart TV or lots of inputs, I already have a HTPC and receiver for that stuff.
